Jeff bought this car from his dad in 1977 when he was a senior in high school. The car was driven daily for many years, it is now driven only occasionally. This car is not trailered and has been driven to the AMO nationals in Missouri, Michigan, Connecticut, Wisconsin and North Carolina. Jeff's Javelin has been on television on the show American Muscle Car, and was also featured in 2 movies "Dumb and Dumberer" and as Matthew McConaughey's car in the movie "We Are Marshall".

Jeff purchased this car in 1999 as a 40th birthday present for himself (strange car for a mid-life crisis, but to each his own). Jeff had the car painted and changed the color from the original yellow to dark brown. The interior has also been redone. Jeff added most of the options himself, with some help from his friends (also named Jeff). The car was driven daily for a couple of years but is now relegated to "spare car" status.

Purchased from original owner in 2005 with only 45000 miles. Engine rebuilt, engine bay detailed, new carpet, rallye pac gauges, Hooker Competition headers, new exhaust, many pieces have been rechromed. All work payed off in 2006 when my humble ride was awarded a concours gold at the AMO nationals in Dayton, Ohio.

Purchased 1997 with 70,000 miles, it had been sitting in woods for 14 years with rotted tires, bad brakes, gas tank was patched with fiberglass, bent LR axle, damaged LR quarter, A/C compressor had been removed. I have upgraded to front disc brakes, electronic ignition, and painted where white vinyl top areas were black. Suspension rebuilt, axle replaced, new tires. Engine runs great. A work in progress.
